You can see here, some cans of the reloder series from the 1950s I shot a lot of this back in the day wish I had a wheelbarrow load of reload or 15 was the chisel for 22/250 with 50 to 55 grain Bullets at that time it was called Hercules powder company. My mother worked for them during the war as a Rosie, the riveter they were building bombs and munitions for the US Army today they build cruise missiles as you can see the RX was part of their logo depicting that their powder was the prescription for good shooting and accuracy. The plastic jug from the 90s shows the RX were still in the logo. Today’s modern cans that have no affiliation with Hercules have dropped the X that’s why us old timers still use it today.
Everyday from mid June on in my part of Idaho it’s 90-120 until Octoberi use rl-19, imr 4350, h4831, accurate 2520, and imr 3031 for a varriety of loads and rifles but rl-19 is my fav. in my .270 and i hunt in sub zero (-20) in idaho and i do have less power at impact at those temps and i tend to have more drop at over 400 yard than usual but ath 300 the difference is less than 1/4 inch and im still in a 1/4-3/8 groups no matter the temp with rl-19 now the 2520 if its over 90 it throughs a fit but it hot and fast and when does it get that hot in idaho LOL
