A positive USPS shipping experience (for a change!)

We've all had some lousy shipping experiences over the past year, but there might be hope! Just shipped a package, USPS Priority Mail, to fellow forum member, NateHaler. Dropped the package at my local post office here in eastern PA, Friday morning, Feb. 5. Arrived at NateHaler's place in central TX, yesterday, Feb. 8th! Hoping that this is a good sign for everybody, going forward. Time will tell.

I mailed a flat rate USPS box Florida to Kentucky on Sat. Feb.5. The member here received the box yesterday the 8th, two days ahead of projected delivery. This has actually been my experience with both FedEX an UPS lately, maybe I'm lucky.

Bc'z mailed a stock to me from OR to ND Friday afternoon and it was in my hands Monday morning.
They're doing pretty good but occasionally shit happens.

I am hearing things are looking up... I did just pay double to get a package shipped UPS becouse I need it , a part for a reloader... So I am sure it will get lost by UPS and never be seen again by human eyes...

Picked up an optic that shipped from Illinois on Saturday and arrived in Colorado on Monday, that is great service in my book.

I endured some of the nightmare USPS shipping scenarios in December and early January also. Sold some bullets and brass to 4 different forum members here and saubier recently, and all four USPS Priority Flat Rate packages moved flawlessly to their destinations. Maybe the PO is getting back to normal, or as my cynical self says, maybe they have been told to cut out the crap and get it done now that the Biden administration is in charge.

Like my rifles sitting in a sort facility for almost 3 weeks. They just arrived at destination today.
I've never had a problem with USPS, always on time or ahead of schedule getting stocks back to you guy's.
But my stuff...
Lesson in patience well taught, thank you God!!

all my packages made it to/from without delays during Nov/Dec... Bullets from VT made it across the country during Christmas in 3 days. jme

As long as your money lands in my mailbox we're OK, got some of it yesterday.

Package dropped in eastern PA for me in NC on the 2nd and still not here. Should be here tomorrow hopefully.

Had a few fast ones recently as well. Let's hope ammo and reloading supplies return that fast

Have had a few small priority flat rate boxes show up in 2-3 days from all over the country recently. Things are looking up a bit. Surprisingly, at work (I ship 20-25K$ shipping bill a week) our damages and lost packages are down through UPS recently.

The postal service always slows down after Thanksgiving and usually gets back to normal sometime after the 2nd week in January. With the Pandemic going on last year it made it worse after Thanksgiving last year. Never seen it so bad and I send hundreds of packages thru their system every year. Right now if I send a priority package anywhere in the US it's right back to the normal 2 or 3 days to get there.

Hard to say this past year. With all the mail in ballot issues etc. I can say that well before the election, I had slow USPS mail processing. I really couldn't blame that on the election.

I exchanged some bullets with a guy in Texas and I live in Ohio. Took 3 days for our packages to arrive. Last week we received a Christmas card mailed Dec 9’th

I'm still waiting for my bill for my health insurance that was mailed in December. I contacted the insurance provider and they told me they were told it's sitting in a box at a mail distribution/sorting center in Columbus, Ohio. I handle financial matters for my sister in law and similar scenario happened. I mailed out her premium for health insurance supplement for January 2021 on the 30th of November. This past week I received a bill for two months premium because the first one hasn't arrived yet.

Sent a package out to Ohio from NC on Monday and it’s out for delivery today so that’s promising. The one to Arkansas says Friday.

Luck of the draw, and conveyor belt maybe. I sent two barrels, Priority Mail, identically packaged, at the same time.

Barrel #1 got from TX to Reno, NV in 2 days. (1,700 miles)

Barrel #2 got from TX to Omaha, NE in 9 days. (700 miles)
