I would ask the OP; What, exactly, are you looking to get done? Are you comfortable with a multi year lead time or would you prefer sooner?

If just a clean and re finish, Tyler GunWorks is one of the better guys out there to re finish a pistol in a reasonable amount of time. There’s also Turnbull.
If you need a “mechanic” look at Evolution Armory. Reasonable rates and a fast turn around.
If you’re looking for a “resto-mod” Greg Derr and/or KGB would get my vote.
You want an art piece... I am using David Clevinger and so far am quite pleased. His communication is excellent and I think the pricing is fair. It’ll be over 2 years since he got my parts tho. I’m good with it as he was up front about his lead time.

There’s also Dustin Housel in MO. JRJ Custom Pistols. Bunker Arms. Etc...
