Thank you!!! I'm NEGATIVE

Thank you for all your prayers. After a full day on the phone I found out why I couldn't get my test results. Apparently the gov. is allowing pool results. A group of test are pooled, one is tested, if neg. All are ruled Ned. However, if one is positive they all have to be tested. After so much persistent and putting my RN, BSN, CCM, CNCN credentials out there (I hate having to pull rank), I started getting answers. Got my negative today at 1830. I still must quarantine till 1/22, and I'm still on my zinc, vit C, baby asa, meds, but I think I'm good. My friend has pneumonia, but got the infusion and is doing much better. Thank all of you so much. Prayer works.

While I've been restricted to my room I've been looking at AR-15s. I need an out of the box one, I'm not much into armory leggos. I've been looking at Modern military competition. It only has one position change, stand to prone, I fall down good. So this might be something I can compete in with my son. Any suggestions. Thanks again, more than you know.

I sweated this one out big time.

Glad to hear you’re negative! My family is just getting over it here. It’s been one of the mildest cases of flu we’ve ever had.
Are you sure you didn’t misunderstand the testing protocols you described? Do you have a link because testing like that makes no sense at all for determining if an individual is positive or negative.

With all those qualifications, then you know that next week you could contract it and test positive. Right ?

Yeah, that's why my son did grocery shopping today, and my husband had laundry duty. I'll gladly stay put just in the rare case I start feeling bad and convert to a positive. I don't want anyone else to sweat this out.

My county is running 18% pos, I couldn't get a test her so next county tested me. When I started being rough I was given this link to prove what they were doing was approved. Who knew.

Ah ok, that makes sense. I misread what you wrote originally. My bad.

Don't want to worry you unnecessarily but the FDA is warning about false negative tests.

If you have symptoms, assume you are covid positive, according to the FDA.

My nextdoor neighbor tested negative, still hasn't recovered after 4-5 weeks and has had horrible headaches for weeks now. BTW they eat out 2 times a day and don't do any cooking at home (empty nesters). I'd put their chances of being covid positive at about 100% as Texas is about at the epicenter of out of control covid spread.

Don't know what your state/county infection rate is, but it sounds like they're slap dash testing method is geared towards producing lower recorded infection rates, keeping businesses open and sales tax dollars flowing into city coffers.

I'd be extra cautious.

What third world country are you living in?
LOL Apparently the same one you are living in. It's a CDC guideline. It's all of us. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/lab/pooling-procedures.html

I feel OK, still battling fatigue, but with my autoimmune disease and the travel for WAG & Tennessee that is pretty normal for me. It's one of the things that go along with life for me. Like I said I'm still in quarantine for 6 more days, but I think I'm going to be good.
