I have a Rem 700 ADL varmint wt. rifle I bought 2 years ago. I had the action out of the stock for about 10 months. Today I tried to drop the action and barrel into the stock. There are 4 contact points on the round tubular part of the action, front back and sides. The seems to be a high point on the side. A straight edge does not seem to locate a high point. I can rock the action up and down on this high location? Can a tupperware stock warp with time? What's going on? Can someone recommend a quality drop in stock. Do custon stocks have extra clearance for a Jewell trigger?
