My apologies if I am violating some rules on this but I am so excited I could hardly wait to share this.

Been looking since March for primers in general and August for shot shell. Thursday found and ordered from a track and field website what they advertised as Magnum Shot shell Primers for starter pistols.

What I received were standard CCI 209 shot shell primers.

I ordered on a prayer, some times prayers are answered. I cannot grantee that you will get the same results but here is a link to what I ordered and a picture of what I received.

Total per 1k shipped ground was $61.15, I could not figure out how to order more than 10 at a time.

Exactly. And I’m on the team that doesn’t panic buy and drive up prices to crazy inflated levels for all other shooters.

Found 7 pounds of H4895 the other day in a shop. Could have bought it all but I only needed one pound for some testing I needed to do. And guess what? I only bought one pound so other shooters can get what they need as well. Had I bought it all and participated in prolonging the component shortage, the prices would be higher next time shops get it in.

We went thru this same exact crap in 2008. Can’t believe people haven’t learned their lesson yet. Wake up people. Panic buying doesn’t help anything. Just get what you need and nothing more or you’ll pay dearly in the long run when the price of everything doubles or triples and stays that way. Which is exactly what happened in 2008.

Posts like this are nothing different than what the liberal media does to create fear and induce mass hysteria into the public over COVID.

I know a lot of shooters and I don't know a single one who hasn't been complaining about the primer shortage for at least the last six months. Nothing said amongst us is going to change anyone's actions.

I disagree. Its the free market system at work. You sound like a Communist........everybody deserves an equal share. LOL. People want to keep the shooting sports and competitions alive but they are all dying because the price to play is getting too steep. I live comfortably and can afford more than most people, but there’s no sense in having to pay more just because a handful of morons got it in their head that the government is going to take everything away from us and drove everyone into panic buying. I started shooting skeet in February , shotgun Primers disappeared two months ago... Wish I could get my hands in some Winchester 209..
