Seems like every year at about this time, cabin fever sets in and forum discussions turn heated at the drop of a hat. Add Covid 19 and we’re all a bit cagey. I’m as guilty as anyone. Before ripping into someone’s post can we agree to close our eyes, count to ten (5 isn’t long enough) and reconsider snapping at members?

Had our first snow fall here in eastern PA, albeit just a dusting. Been spending more time on the forum than normal. Wifey and I do venture out much - I got to the range about twice a week, it's mostly isolated due to the ammo shortage. About the only other places we go are to the grocery store and doctor's office.

Usually this time of the year the grand kiddies would be spending a weekend or two with wifey and I but this virus has prevented that and we are aching for them. It's a real bummer because are close to our grand kids.

Seen a lot of aggressive and nasty behavior lately, on the road ways, at the range, at the grocery store. I think everyone is keyed up over the events of the pass several months and people are on edge. I grew up in a era of no social media, in a remote rural area. Life was good, simple, and uncomplicated. I feel for those having to navigate this "brave new world."

I do believe this current crisis will pass in time, how long I have no idea but we should try to remain civil. That's not to say we can't engage in a logically respectful debate about issues but we can respect the other person's point of view without becoming nasty and agree to disagree.

Its been a long crazy, stuped year but it looks like we made it.
Tomorrow Im climbing a plain and heading down to this view, looks like temps will be in the low 90s so a little different then over in the US. Im spending New years deep in the bushveld with friends and planning a Sable hunt for next year if all goes to plan, cant wait to get out of this city!

Scratching my head about winter projects this year. For the first time in the last 10 years have not been able to come up with a big shooting project. Over the years I always had reloading to work on or stock work, or just good cleaning. Have my work room organized to an anal retentive degree. My "wanter" is empty, besides nothing is out there. Need to come up with something, so I don't spend the winter annoying people on the inter web. When not out yote hunting, will have to hang out at the range and piss off my friends whose rifles don't shoot as well as mine. Group shooting for lunch ended a long time ago. Hope I avoided any micro-aggressions in this post.
