Brass storage

Yup! Ziplocks work great! I buy the thicker “freezer bags”! I store my plinker loads in them too, with a detailed info sheet!

Toss them in a zip lock bag and leave them. No issues. Have brass I prepped over 10 years ago and it looks like it did hen I popped it in the bag.
After reading @joshb ‘s reply, I realized well yeah, mine are in baggies but more to keep them from collecting dust. Some of them are high-mileage baggies.

Hefty 15 quart totes or ziplocs. I also use concrete test cylinders for dirty brass prior to cleaning.

I have a few of the plastic ammo cans that I use, along with some Dollar Store plastic totes, and carboard boxes, with some ziplock bags mixed in for good measure.

After shooting I used to deprime, clean, resize and then sometimes prime the brass, then store it in Zip Lock bags. But now I just store it in Zip Lock bags right after shooting. When I need to load up some rounds I start the process. I have changed my routine too many times and don't want to have brass that may not be sized the way I want it or have the primer that I may not want. So I just start from scratch every time.

BUT, if I would want to do any brass prep I would deprime, clean and anneal. Those are the basics that I do to all my brass, no matter what.

Slowly changing over to plastic. After shooting, I tumble brass and store in these containers. When I shoot up all of a particular cartridge then I prep it for reloading.

Ok call me nuts but I prepped a bunch of LC 223 brass years ago and then vacuum sealed them... I use Lapua now so it may be a while before I get to the LC stuff..

I de-prime/re-size, the tumble and clean them in treated corn cob, ripe them all down and put them in old coffee cans with lids and/or zip loc bags and place them on a shelf in the loading room, until I pull some and reload them.

I tumble my brass in walnut shell treated with NuFinish and then seal them in either Zip Lock Freezer Bags or Cheap Plastic Zip Lock Storage bins. I have brass that's been in these storage instruments for over 3 years, and they have not tarnished.
