What Trigger Pull Gauge to measure 2 oz pull?

I seem to be collecting rifles that have 2 oz. Jewel trigger in them. My current trigger pull gauge (old and cheap) RCBS doesn't go down that low, and I'm sure being a spring gauge it isn't very accurate.

I see the Lyman, but can't see how low it will measure. I also see the Wheeler and I'm not overly impressed with Wheeler stuff.

What are your recommendations for what I need?

I had the same issue when I adjusted the Jewel on my Bat this summer.
Here's what I did:
Stand rifle on it's butt (maybe someone holding it) with aboout 1/2 the butt plate off the table
Make a big loop of fishing string to encircle the butt and trigger.
Hang a reloading scale pan on that loop of string.
Add small bolts, nuts, washers, etc until trigger releases.
Measure pan's total weight. Adjust, rinse and repeat.

When it’s that low does it even matter if they are not each the same?
When I shot the newest one yesterday, it seemed to be higher than at least 1 other. Maybe I've been shooting light triggers long enough to become accustomed to them? But I would at least like to know. I did find out the Lyman does report in 0.1 ounces, just kind of wonder the accuracy?

Like violins, no two sound alike, so as no two, two ounce triggers will feel the same. I have had two rifles of the same brand and model with the same brand and model of triggers set at 6 ounces and 8 ounces, and both felt the same for my style of shooting.

Some time back, it occurred to me that I should just adjust my light triggers until I like them, and not worry about their weights. Yes, I do have a way to measure them accurately.
And, it finally comes down to that anyway.
E.g., I adjust mine for 8 oz and measure; then I try it. Doesn't feel just right and...... I adjust it.

Ok, after reading more reviews on the Lyman gauge, I'm convinced it probably will not do what I want. I already have a double loop string I use with the RCBS gauge. I use a box of muzzleloader balls and a way to contain them, then weigh that. Too bad I recently sold my 3 balance beam scales...

This will work. You can find them in different ranges of weight.

I adjust them to default per jewel directions and have never had to play with them.

I’ll second what Kratos and Joe recommended. If you want to measure a trigger that light, get the 100 or 150gram tension gage.

I just bought a 50g halda to check my Flavio and Bix triggers. I felt more confident in it than I did my Lyman digital at that low of a reading. It was also easier to control.

I was more interested in the consistency than I was the actual weight.

I have the Lyman and it will indeed measure 2 oz.
