I was going variable for mirage if needed. It’s for rimfire heavy class so weight not an issue. What size dot do you use?I am not looking at the scope stats so this statement may be a moot point.....BUT.....I would use the one that will let you make weight. If I were going to use it for strictly BR with known distances I would most likely opt for being able to cover the turrets. I use March scopes ( 36-55 EPZ & fixed 50 ) and that is how mine are set-up....Take a look at a set of off-set rings as well.

Rick

I'm not aware that the March-X 10-60X56 HM comes with another turret beside the "tactical" ones show at the website. My 10-60X56 has the ones shown at the site as "tactical", and all the other ones have ever seen have had similar turrets. That said, my turrets are 1/8 MOA and the site does state that 1/4 MOA are available. Perhaps those are the BR turrets of which you speak.I’m new to rimfire Benchrest competition. What are the advantages/disadvantages between this scope with BR turrets as compared to Tactical in the High Master March scope? What one are the competitive Shooters using?
Does it tell you if you are shooting on a sling target..sorry couldn’t help myselfI'm not aware that the March-X 10-60X56 HM comes with another turret beside the "tactical" ones show at the website. I use my 10-60X56 for F-class at 1000 yards and I usually run it at 50X regardless of conditions. Well, that's not quite true, I did dial down to 40X today to help see more mirage around the target. The glass in the 10-60X56 seems to perform better than most (ok, all) other scopes in mirage.
There are three models of this scope. The first one comes with actual wired reticle; a crosshair, a crosshair with dot and a diplex. The second one is a non-illuminated etched reticle with your choice of 6 etched reticles and the third one is the illuminated version of the etched reticles. I have the illuminated version of the MTR-5 reticle.
It does. What it does not do is connect to WiFi-Shotmarker and tell me the target face on the display is wrong. It's Stacey's fault.Does it tell you if you are shooting on a sling target..sorry couldn’t help myself
