Have been shooting H-4895 for the last few years since I went to the Bra, I still have enough for next season but being in un-obtainum status I was curious if anyone has found a suitable replacement. I have 6 lbs. of N-203B that worked pretty well in a straight BR and was wondering if anyone has tried it in a Bra at a grand? Any recommendations appreciated.

Mr. Sam Hall had an awsome outing at the Pedmont 600 yd match with N-203B and set some new records using it in HG with the 6 BRA. - IMO N-203B is Reloder 15 so some guns / barrels may like it & other not so much.

I have used R-15 and N-203B since 2004 in a BR then a Dasher at 600 and now I shoot the BR-AI (BRA). I personally had more luck throughout the season and at different locations and weather than anything else. I have also had pretty good luck with H4895 also in the AI, but I am running low. I have a lot of R-15 left over from years back, I will probably go back to it completely. Basically, anything on the BR case whether standard or improved version will shoot the same powders. Varget, R15, N203B, H4895 etc. There are more in that burn rate that will work, but these are the old standbys.

Sam thank you for the response, I knew you had good success out of a straight BR with the 203-B, since I have 6 lbs. of it, I think I'll have to start testing it out. I also have about 3 lbs. of Rl-15 and 12 lbs. of Varget, looks like I have some work to do.
