Any Nevada Chuckar hunters?

I have hunted parts of Nevada for years, just wondering what bird numbers are like this year in the better units? Dog and me are both old and need help

Elko area has birds, I saw some birds outside the Pequops a couple weeks back, Fallon had a bad crop this year. It's really dependent on where you want to go.

The report should the Fallon east Stillwater as being good? Never been there.

Years ago I hunted near McDermitt on the Oregon border. Also met hunters who stayed in McDremitt and hunted in Oregon. We did fairly well as the bird numbers were good in those days. We hunted in December but not sure that is a plus or minus. Our legs got a good work out, for sure.

I'd keep going east past Eastgate, I've hit them with my truck on the Elkhorn pass road. Never really hunted chukar by stillwater, just what I've heard from friends.
