AMP Aztec setting

Good Morning fellow shooters,
Does anyone have an AZTEC setting for Petersen 284 brass? I can't get to the lot number I'm using right now, though. I bought it last fall.

Mine came out to 152 for .013 necks..

Thanks Preacher. I haven't turned my necks. Might be a little different. My Norma brass was around 143 I think. We should see if Jay (site admin) can set up a database for all the settings for the different calibers and their lots.

That is most likely what's gonna happen. It's just painful to throw away a dollar and fifteen cents! LOL

Yes, Just wanted to see if someone had the number before I wrecked a good piece of brass.

If you neck turn the number is different anyway. So, donate a piece of brass to the cause and get right.

Well, I thought it was great, however they do not have the data for the 284 Winchester.

...this reminds me of the old saying about a "penny wise...blah, blah....

..if your AMP model has the Aztec feature, you already paid over 100 dollars for that, and that upgrade gives you the ability to get a code for your exact lot at your exact neck thickness. Neck thickness can make a difference of 4 to 5 units. Don't leave that possible benefit on the table just to save one buck.

My no-turn Peterson .284 setting is 156. Take it for what it is and yours could vary. The brass is from one of the their very first batches made and all one lot and I took the average of five pieces out of the 1000 pieces I bought.
