Lack of lube?
As posted ensure proper lube, also record the amount of re-sizing by the die as not all dies are a good fit for your chamber. I had to have a couple thousand honed out
Yeah...Using imperial die sizing wax and I'm not having issues with .308 brass.
I just measured some brass the die is sizing down brass about .005
Yeah...
.004 is about where my stuff starts gettin squeaky, .002-.003 they size like cuttin butter
Sounds like your sizing die has an expander ball. The die sizes the neck down when brass goes into the die. The expander ball opens the neck up when the brass comes out of the die. The expander ball is what’s making the noise.
This works wellSend 3 pieces of brass to the die maker of your choosing

In a semi-auto you want the case body .003 to .005 smaller than its fired diameter. This allows the case body to spring back from the chamber walls and extract reliably.
My guess is your die is on the small side of the diameter limits and oversizing the case body for a bolt action.
I would ask the members here how much does a custom die reduces body diameter, .005 smaller seems excessive.
If the die is new you could try polishing the die with a shotgun cleaning mop in a drill and some J&B Bore paste, automotive rubbing compound. Mothers Mag and Wheel polish, etc. Many new dies have a dry film coating for protection and "MUST" be cleaned with a good solvent. The last dies I bought said to clean the die with Hoppe's.
If you want more noise when full-length sizing then try sizing 7.62 Lake City brass that was fired in a machine gun.
You can send three x fired cases to Wilson along with your request they will hook ya up.My .308 Redding dies size down about .002
I'm going to order a new die
Willson dies. But I would change lubs before I spent money on custom dies. Just my Two cents. Tommy McWhat would cause brass to squeak kind of loud when resizing? Requires moderate force to size the brass
Lapua 6.5x47 brass , Redding FL bushing die
Shoots great no issues that I can see just find it odd
