I woke up this morning with a notification from Midway that 5000 Br4 we’re available. Logged in and all gone. You east coast boys beat me to it. Who scored?

Hope this is a sign of things to come. At last Saturday's shoot a number of people were asking about both powder and primer availability. I do my best to build long term relationships with my local dealers, in the past this has reaped benefits. This is pure hearsay, but one of my dealers was told Federal is loading every primer it makes into there ammunition. These days one excuse is as good as the next.

Funny. I was looking at something on Midway last night and saw they were available. By the time I checked out, they were no longer in stock.

Whether it is for these or other primers, I think whoever was ordering a few thousand at a time is now ordering 10-20000 at a clip. Bingo, no more available in the country. Ammo is going the same way. I am not saying we are hoarding, but as long as some of us are, it is a snowball effect, not because of recreational plinking in a field or at a range, but in family protection.
