Lol
You realize he lived pretty much on the state line and Kenosha was where he normally shopped etc, right?
Except Wisconsin taxpayers will get stuck paying for his keep.
Fast Strike reminds me of this:It's easy to arm chair things. I am certainly not trained. But when I read about things like a guy's account in living through the Kosovo conflict and when I read Massad Ayoob in American Handgunner (his column is free on the American Handgunner site), or when I watch:
I'm pretty amazed at how badly things can go wrong and when reading about Kosovo, just what becomes important - it's not what you think right off the cuff.
I don't have the money or the desire to go through the courts on a shooting nor do I ever want to shoot anyone. I am thinking of upping my game on less than lethal self protection. though. I'm going to invest in a good level III soft vest and a Fast Strike tool. It's one thing to be attacked in your home, but it is more concerning to me to be in public and attacked by trouble makers.

I live so far in the sticks (I literally have a 200 yard range in the front yard) that if god-forbid a situation arises at my home the first thing I'm going to do is wait 30 minutes. If the blue lights don't show up by then it never happened.
Don`t forget the lime. It`s on sale for Labor Day at Lowe`s. Happy digging ,JeffCall 811 before you dig. Burred gas and electric lines can be dangerous
A very simple question, first this is not a political thread. It is about self defense and home defense. Please leave your political beliefs out of it. (yes that includes me)
The question is simple to ask but much harder to answer because of all the factor's involved. All the stupidity that is going on in our cities and towns should have you wondering if you have done everything you can to protect your family in case of the "stupids" coming to your area.
We have all seen what happened in one part of our country to homeowners when confronted with so called protesters who broke down a gate to go when they wanted to go. (Leave the politics out of this) just what will you do if this comes to your area? In many areas of our country you cannot do anything unless your door is kicked down and they come into your home. I will just bring up one question here that made me think about protecting our family's, not your property but just yourself or your family.
While watching the nasty news a few nights ago the news caster kept bringing up the fact that some of the "protesters" were wearing body armor. This has in my area come up more than once on the news and yes we all know who these people are as a group. My question to you is simple, ... are you as your family protector prepared to deal with body armor on a bad guy breaking into your home?
Yes a lot of us have firearms that when discharged can pick the bad guy/gal up and throw them off your doorstep, But have you actually thought about having to do that, and if so what and where are you going to aim to do so to protect your family while the rest of the stupids are trying to get into your home at the same time?
This is just one question of many that you may only have a second to answer should this come to your neighborhood, do you have a plan in place if it should happen? Have you taken the time to think ahead? You and i and others on this forum can share ideas and help others become better prepared for something we all knew couldn't happen here.
Remember, NO politics. Simply what can we do together to be better prepared should it come to our neighborhood?
Really sad this conversation is happening. Guess it's just a sign of the times. More troubling is how to put the genie back in the bottle.
hogpatrol i notice that nobody has been stupid enough to put any bullet holes in that sign!
