adapting a tuner to a threaded barrel

I have a harrels tuner on the way for my 0.920" 10/22 barrel. I just learned it might not help me much due to my setup, but i'll still try!

but, i just had a thought. For my Tikka t1x...could have have a 1" or so extension made that is threaded 1/2x28 with a diameter of 0.920" so i could adapt my tuner to work on it as well?

I've got what you're talking about..adapters for both 1/2-28 and 5/8-24 barrels, to adapt our tuners to them.

You can use a standard thread protector and get a shim that will slip over it and is .919-.918 in diameter. so the Harrell you have can be used. I did one for a guy who needed a 1.00 for an Anschutz, but also wanted it for a .900 barrel.

you could also look into a kinetic tuner, they make them for 1/2-28 and 5/8-24 and are designed to fit with the threads and then have a brake or can on the threads after them. waiting on mine for my T1x also.
