I think Dusty is the GE turbine engineer and will be required to start and plants that have to shut down due to the storm. He worked in my neighborhood on the new natural gas plant and i didn't know it till he was done. Not 10 miles from the house.

That is just crazy.. I live 60 miles due east of where it hit and didn't get one drop of rain and no winds over about 25 mph. Lucky to live on the "clean" side this time.
This storm was very tightly wound and windy storm and moving at about 17 MPH. The bad ones have a cloud cover that covers the entire Gulf with max winds of about 90 mph and moving at 5 mph.
