The results of this competition will be posted on various social media sites, and will be released to various media sources. Your signature gives “Performance Shooting, Inc.” Permission to use the results and/or photos to further promote our shooting competition, and for any other purposes we deem appropriate.

Groups will be measured using the “center to center method” for example: we will measure your five shot group from the edges of bullet holes farthest apart on your target. Say you were using a 308 caliber, and your group size measures 1.818”, we will take 1.818” minus 0.308 which equals a group size of 1.51” from the center of each of the furthest holes. The winner will be determined by taking the average of your best two five shoot groups at 200 yards, for example if your groups were 1.25”, 1.35” and 1.65”, we would take 1.25”+1.35”=for a average score of 1.30”. The measuring of the targets will be done by the range officer on hand using a Frankford Arsenal Electronic Caliper.

After every shot, the range officer will place a clear piece of tape over your previous hole to ensure there are five holes in the group.

The same rifle must be used for all 15 shots.

If a competitor shoots another competitors target, they will be disqualified and the other competitor whose target has been shot will need to reshoot their group, unless it is clear to the range officer which one came from the other competitor, the final determination will come for the director of the Shoot.

Forgive my ignorance of your match operations, but are you using pits for the targets? The comment about putting tape over each shot is something I've not seen before without pits and I've never seen pits used for short range benchrest. Maybe I'm missing something, but just curious.

Bump, this is a large competition with $1,500 in cash prizes, 7 scopes from Nikon, Vortex and other prizes from Remington, Leupold, and Nightforce....come on please help spread the word, we currently have 43 shooters and have room for 60 would love to fill it up. Thanks, Mike
