Best Spotter stand and head?

The Polecat that I referenced early on in this thread is a fine unit. The scope head is designed and made by Gary Elisio. Would be hard to beat. Easy to adjust and hold adjustment with out any fuss on your part.
Thanks again Dub. I see Gary makes his own head and sells it through competition machine to- I didnt know he made and designed the polecat. I know CS wouldnt sell junk. Sure would be nice to be able to try them all out in one spot wouldnt it?

I have a Ray-vin base that I added solid rods too. A couple of years ago I added a Gear Buggy head to it. It is now perfect. If I had to buy new now, it would be a Gear Buggy. Hands down.
So you no longer use the Ray-vin and now just use the Gear Buggy?
its interesting someone with your machinist knowledge would buy one
instead of making it. We only have so much time I know. I may make
one, but ill keep looking at the pics trying to decide which one to get.
In mean time ill use a 4x6 chunk of wood. :) thanks Walt

I now use part Ray-vin and part Gearbuggy. Making one is not the problem. Designing and making just one and having it work perfect is the problem.

So does Gary make the new style head that's on the current polecat as well as the old style they originally sold that Gary still sells on his website? I have an early Creemoor Sports stand which appears to be identical to Gary's head he has on his website. I assume he made the originals for Creedmoor.
