If you're thinking about a rotary tumbler the Rebel 17 is similar to the Thumblers but uses ball bearings and bigger shafts. It's rated for 17 pounds capacity.
thanks Frank— I’ve been looking at that one so it’s good to get a recommendationIF you use corncob or walnut media, the Big Dillon is pretty hard to beat.
I use the snots out of mine, and it is going strong and showing no signs of giving up.

I use one part Simple Green and seven parts water and tumble for two hours, clean inside and out.I got a rebel 17 on Monday ran my first batch through it yesterday. The instructions said to add a couple of OZs of clear dish washing soap to the water. I will never do that again, I spent half an hour scooping out suds and throwing it out. were nasty brass was clean inside and out in a bout 2 hours. Just need a none foaming formula before I run my next batch. Ive owned a Dillon vibratory for years its not the super big one but still way bigger than most, it will not clean range brass that has been on the ground for a while. But it will clean every thing else and last for ever. If you know a way to use the wet (rebel 17) tumbler with out the suds please let me know.
Thanks Todd— you must tumble a lot of cases if you use cement mixersIf you are wanting to try wet tumbling I would go with the Rebel 17 over the Thumlers Model B. I have the Model B, my friend have the Rebel 17. The Rebel 17 is better. Were it not for the fact that I do most of my work in cement mixers now I would sell the Model B and replace with the Rebel 17.
If you are going to stick with dry tumbling, Thumlers is the best in my opinion. Call them and they can help you order the parts you need to fix your current tumbler. That is one of the great things about Thumlers, you can get parts. I have 2 UV-45 and a UV-18. My UV-45's run for up to 16 hours a day at times.
I clean and polish a million cases or more a year. Thanks Todd— you must tumble a lot of cases if you use cement mixers
