'06 to 6mm Remington

I would like to try Peterson brass in my 6mm Rem. The closest they make is 30/06. Has anyone made 6mm Rem brass from '06? How much trouble is it?

I made 30-06 Lapua down to 6mm rem for my Ackley using a Paul Bike shoulder set back die set. Its a bit of work annealing and neck turning in steps to prevent donut formation. Whats even easier but still some work is norma 7x57 or lapua 8x57.

You can use a 7x57 form/trim die initially. Then anneal and use a cheap 257R then 6rem.

Peterson makes .270 Win. brass now. It might save a step or two...

Is this for match use, or hunting?

Match i could understand doing the extra work. Hunting, not so much.

For my 257 Roberts i got 7X57 PPU brass from Grafs for cheap. Run through full length sizer, load and shoot.
Sends 90gr BlitzKings to 600 yards at minute of coyote.
115gr Berger VLD-H minute of deer at 1,000 yards.

This is for target use. I have some RWS & Norma brass that I have made. Just thought I might try something different. Thanks for the inputs!
