The DCs are my only muffs that, 30 years later, I've been able to find replacement parts for. OTOH, they are very bulky and sort of the opposite of what the OT was asking for.You need good ear protection on a covered range. I like David Clark's muffs. You can replace the foam filled cushions with liquid filled cushions for more comfort. I still wear foam plugs with them.

Suppressors and plugs
I have always been a fan of them for flying but i havent seen a gun with a stock on it you can shoot with them onThe David Clark muffs are top line quality and the most sound reduction you can get. Parts are readily available.
I just bought one, was told to expect 8-14 months, but might get lucky and get it sooner. I don’t think it is longer to get multiples, you do the paperwork separately I think. How long would it take to get 6 suppresors approved? I suppose one would be ok and just move it from gun to gun as needed.
I can shoot all my long guns (AR's, Rem 700 with Bell & Carson stock, etc.) with them. Maybe my head is shaped differently. I can shoot shotguns with electronic muffs too.I have always been a fan of them for flying but i havent seen a gun with a stock on it you can shoot with them on

I have three suppressors and use each on multiple rifles.
My only regret is that I didn't buy them 50-60 years ago. I would hear much better now if I did. The $200 tax stamp plus the cost of the suppressor is a bargain. I paid $3000 for my nuisance hearing aids.
As has been said. The best time to buy one was a year ago. The next best time is today.
How much to install? I assume that you have to chuck the BA in a lathe or do you thread the muzzle end like you do a piece of pipe? Plus reblue if the barrel has a blued finish. I have 5 SS barrels, one blued and one gunsmith's surprise.
Peltor Comtac III are superb. Heavy. great mic pickup-directional. Gel cup seals. quick blast cutoff. A few more $$ for the best. Forget anything Howard Leight. I left / dropped mine in a hayfield and plowed them with my tractor few months later. Couldn't bring myself to spend the $ again. The best ever- earpro, hands down. well my .02.Sordin Pro X are good ear protection. Not too thick ear muff. gel seal. good microphone for hearing range commands, etc. fit/shape -no problem for me using with any type rifle. wear foam plugs under for even more protection. https://www.sordin.com/products/supreme-pro-x-led
