Wolves are back from the taxidermist!

There's a taxidermy supply shop not 5 minutes from where I work. There's all sorts of cool stuff like that in there. I wonder if it's not your taxidermist's source. Either way, awesome mount!

Amazing shooting and amazing tax work. That could be used in the promo for Mountain Men show. Make sure you lock the door to that room when you leave. Never know! Jeff

Very creative display, and the entire piece is serendipitous in how it came together. This is the first time I've heard of someone shooting 5 wolves in 2 sessions over a 3 day span! And then finding a true artist that you could work with. I really like the "wrinkles" in the muzzles, nice touch.

Really beyond the neat. Only thing is it would take a room or building set aside just for something like that.

Must be nice.
That is my challenge now. These wolves are at a buddy's house in his empty basement. I own a large house but its not really set up for a trophy room. I'm searching for property to build a bardominium on where I can show trophies off. I have two life size bears coming soon, grizzly and black that add to this challenge. It's a fun problem to have!

Let me start off by saying how fortunate you are to be able to get to do what you have done, as a LEO that is a dream that wont be done in my lifetime. Then you have located an artist and not just a typical taxidermist. There is a big difference in mounting a animal and art. From ear placement, the setting of the eyes, the wrinkles around the nose, the angles of the legs and paws. You have a museum quality mount and I would say congrats to you Sir and also thanks for sharing it with everyone.

Man, absolutely amazing. I’m slowly climbing the corporate ladder in my civilian job...one day. Seriously, though, works of art. Show case it to hipsters and Wolf lovers to show how vicious they really are.

We hunters know how predatory wolves are. Management IS mandatory. Harvesting 5 wolves in anyone's lifetime is a huge accomplishment if anyone knows how elusive these creatures are. Harvesting 5 in two days is monumental. Congratulations. I had 5 wolves in my bear bait pit some years ago on a September Bear hunt. Needless to say I saw zero bears on that site. Wolves were not legal to hunt in Mi at that time or I'd have had at least one large alpha male. Very impressive mounts and very impressive feat.
