Powder choice

I have a 6br with 1 in 14 twist. Shooting 68gr Barts ultra flat base bullets. Dont know whether to go with v133 or v135. I know v133 is choice for 6ppc but question on 6br. My rifle kindly mirrors 6ppc except for case size. Maybe v135 might fill case more, dont know. Any help much appreciated.

I shoot the identical bullet and use v135. It does fill about 95% of the case ..

How many gr of 135 you use?

I am using ~32gr (changes depending on the heat) and the bullet is jumped .015.

Still waiting for the friggin barrel to be done. Have everything else.
I was going to start with the N135 also.
My chamber is .035 FB and Bart said to start at jam and work out.
Are you jumping .015 cause the bullet likes it or because of the freeebore?

My barrel is a 14 twist with a .040 freebore. I did a seating test and the 68gr barts shot best with a .015 jump for me (I tested from .020 jam all the way to .020 jump in .003 increments).

Mine has a Krieger barrel with .030 freebore.

From experience, I'd try both the 133 and the 135 both. And maybe benchmark if you have any handy. JME. WD

I use N135 and Fed 205 match primers in my slow twist 6BR.

Just went out today to retest the amount of powder to use (due to the increase in heat here). This is what I shot today - 5 shots @ 100 yards.
Looks like 32gr of N135 is working for me.

Anyone using something other than N135 like IMR 8208 and its less temp sensitivity with Bart's 68g and 14T 6BR? How much. Thanks.

I shoot the Berger column bullets as well as the Barts 68 gr ultra. N 135, imr 8208 xbr and h4895 work well also. 1:14 twist Cooper Varminter in 6 br.
