Scope Rings with Plastic Inserts?

Was that it? They make a 30mm weaver style in medium, high, and extra high. I use them on most setups now. No ring marks, no worrying about perfect alignment or lapping, extra way of gaining windage and elevation using the different inserts, and haven't had an issue with them slipping yet.

The 30 mm Signature Z rings IIRC come with stock with 0 & 0 inserts front and back. To get 20 minutes you have to order the -10 + 10 set for front and back.
I believe that is the only other set of inserts besides 0 & 0, that they sell.

A huge vx-L on a 6lb 33 nosler will show you slipping with plastic inserts

Minor clarification.

Both Zee and XTR rings come in Signature (with inserts) and non signature.

Some of the online sites can make it confusing so double check when ordering.
thanx also, I went the the Burris web site a studied up. I wonder why they don’t make the Signiture Zee for a 1913 pic? Maybe because Weaver style will fit 1913, but not the other way around.

Correct. Zee aka Weaver rings have a smaller cross bar and will fit in Weaver, Leupold QRW, and will also work in classic Picatinny spaced rails but with a small gap that isn't normally a problem for most shooters when the sides are tightened.

Picatinny sized rings have a wider cross bar and won't fit in the smaller slots

The Burris rings are the XTR Series in 30mm . I have them on both my F-TR Kelby .308 , and My F-Open .308 M-N . Over 4-5 years with zero issues , or slippage of the scope . And I shoot both rifles .....a LOT ! Average 300+ a month on the .308 , and 200+ on the M-N . Good rings . Follow the instructions , and don't over-torque them .

The 30mm Burris Signature Zee rings come with 4 +/-0 and 4 +/-.010" inserts. You can get 20 Moa external elevation with these, as you noted, depending on ring spacing. You don't have to order the +/- .010" inserts separately.

Thank you for the clarification. I did not remember what inserts actually came with my Z rings. It is called CRS.
