I’m finally starting to get loading in formed brass for my 375 snipetac. I shot last season while forming brass and it shot really well.
Forming load:
Bertram brass
215M primers
377 cutting edge bullet
130.0gr of Retumbo
2957fps at the beginning
2996fps by the end of 200 rounds
Sd stayed in the 3-4fps range ever time I checked speed
So far I’ve only shot on of each charge over the magnetospeed in formed brass to find where a decent likelihood of a node would be.
215M primers
350 Badlands Precision SICBM bullet
H50bmg powder
138gr-2844
139gr-2906
140gr-2948
141gr-2957
142gr-2971
144gr-3011
145gr-3033
146gr-3052
147gr-3099
148gr-3145
149gr-3135
150gr-3159
At 144gr I got a slight ejector mark but extraction stayed effortless so I kept going. Even at the 150gr load, it was the same. I would imagine I might be able to get 100fps or so more but I’m going to see what I can find in the 148-150gr range for now.
