Hell of a Barrel!

I have always preached barrels an bullets good job.
P.S. an the guy behind the steering wheel.

+1^^^

First off great shooting in 10mph switchy wind..

When you shot this did you shoot all of row 1 at once, then wait and do all of row 2 at once? Simply put, how much time do you allow between groups? Thanks. WD

Here is something to remember. Your gun shoots it’s best right up until it shoots it’s worst! For example 1B is only 1 to 2 tenths of powder from blowing up. The same with 2B. However 2B is just past blowing up and has 4 to 5 tenths of room before going out of tune. So my choice would be 30.42 and go shoot.

Row 1 is pretty much what I consider the low node. Row 2 is my high node. I could run over 3000 For a “Higher Node” but that’s where evil lurks.

What evils?

Those evils that lurk in H4895 no doubt. They stuck a pitchfork in me at MSSA a while back. Now I'm working Varget and Gungnirs in the 6BRA.
Hope to see you at the range soon my friend!

Ok. I am slow. “What evils? Those evils that lurk in H4895.”

Again, I am slow. But not scared to ask. What evils?

IMO, there is some inconsistency in H4895 lot to lot and I am quite sure I don't have the good stuff.
I shot two targets at a 600 yard in Memphis. An hour later (warmer) the same load was blowing primers and shooting patterns instead of groups.

I would shoot 3 shots and go back and reload. So whatever that took.

No I Prefer H4895.

Evil lurks when you push a load to its upper limits. The higher and harder you push the narrower the load window gets. Then when the load blows up it does it so in spectacularly fashion!

Bart

Is this a good reason to perhaps choose a slower speed node?
