Here is an Xring stock Tom cut the cheek off of for me...I'm making a riser mechanism for it before I inlet and bed for the soon -to- be-here Kelby before I send it off to @Bc'z for a purdy finish.

And one is touching and one ain't...Tom's is bedded like the my first Borden (best shooting rifle I own), pillars touching the action and mine is bedded on top...so we shall see what happens...too bad the tuner now will skew some data...hmmmm. go shooting or make something!!

It's neither today. Instead, I have to wrench on my beater Civic. I had no blower motor yesterday with foggy windows while running errands when it was raining. While playing with all that, I decided to chase down the water leak that has plagued me the last month. I have the plastic cowl at the base of the windshield off to replace the squishy foam gasket(s) that seal the air intake that feeds the vents, heater, and A/C. The worst part is scraping off the old stickum from the 25 year old original foam.
