Randy, have you decided what course of fire and what rules you wish to have. I talked to one of our prospective shooters today and he said that we could possibly get 4 shooters to compete on short notice. Our esteemed (not) Governor John Bel Edwards has extended our imprisonment until May 15th and we may have to shoot on a private range. Let me know what your preferences are. Thanks, James Mock

I have 4 regulars here who have never shot an IBS match in their lives. What kind of experience will your shooters have. If you are going to use IBS 600 yard shooters who shoot regularly. If so, I have Terry Balding coming here this weekend and Larry Laveritt have volunteered to shoot on a DOME team. Just trying to get a feeling on what kind of experience you guys have.

None of the shooters have shot a registered match but all of us have shot a large number of "club" matches. Since this is for fun, let Terry and Larry shoot. All of our shooters have been beaten by lesser shooters. Good luck and let me know when you have shot and what procedure was used. Also, take plenty of pictures for posting on "The Accurate Shooter" and tell us your score. Thanks for giving us a chance to have some competition. The Louisiana team will try to shoot their targets this Saturday (5/16). We will shoot two, 5-shot 600 yd. IBS targets with a 10 minute time limit and unlimited sighters on steel gongs during the 10 minutes (if that is acceptable to the Dasher Dome gang. Good shooting...James PS- The weather is not going to be that great with 10 MPH switching winds and chance of thunderstorms, but Sat. is our best bet to get this done.

The ole weather man may prevent us from shooting this Saturday. Earlier, we were led to believe that the thunderstorms would be mostly in the afternoon, but now the probability of them starting early in the day is increasing. However, we will get them shot ….maybe next week.
