6.5x47 and 140 hybrid tuning

Per suggestion of many that I need to try out the 140 hybrids in my 6.5x47 I did some testing today at 500 yards.
This mornings test was powder charge with them seated at + .015
Then later this evening I went back and began the seating depth testing again at 500 yards with my best powder charge.
The wind earlier wasn’t nice but I managed to get some shots in between the switches. This afternoon the wind wasn’t bad but the last two sets it began picking up and letting off so I’m guessing maybe that’s why the vertical.
The next testing will be done at 1k with my best seating depth and I’ll test 39.8 40.0 and 40.2

From this morning test I thought maybe .015 in been the ticket at 40.0 grains but it didn’t prove out on seating depth testing this afternoon. .003 -.008 off seemed to be the ticket. But we’ll see once I go to 1k

Try 20 off the lands for fun at 39.6. That load does good in 2 of my 47L’s

That 2.115 group is .020 off and was all vertical. It could had been the head wind I had but at .003 off and sub 1” at 500 yards is pretty stout.
