Cracked Carbon 15 Receiver -- Value?

I have a carbon-15 pistol with the stainless fluted barrel. The lower receiver is cracked where the buffer tube screws in. I doubt the pistol has more than 100 rounds thru it. Is it junk or does it have Value to someone.

Why not simply replace the lower receiver?

A stripped reciever is reasonable in price, just buy it and put the other parts in it, from you cracked one.

The carbon 15 upper will not fit a MilSpec Lower

It may have some value, the Carbon 15 pistols are those ones from the 90s that did it to meet the weight requirement of the AWB, right?

I'm sure there is someone who would buy it, but not for the price of a perfectly functional one. Honestly, you may be able to find someone who can repair it. Carbon and carbon fiber are becoming more and more common building materials every day from guns to cars to planes. If you look around and ask enough you'll probably find someone willing to do the work, lord knows what it'll cost you though.

I was not aware that they were not interchangeable. At the very least, you should be able to salvage the barrel and hand guard?

edit- after googling them, you may not be able to salvage much. Good luck with it. Is it a Professional Ordinance?

It is made by Professional Ordinance. was hoping someone needed an upper or parts

I'd advertise it over on ARF.com; a much better chance of finding someone interested there, I would think.

I’d mix up a good epoxy, and glue it and pin the crack.

I bought one new many years ago. After reading about multiple cracks, I stuck my wife's Ciener 22RF kit it it. No issues yet.
