Next 22

I have question, what is the intention with your 22 rifle? I personally shoot a Vudoo because I built it as a clone of my CF match rifle. At the time I was unaware of the great accuracy of the rifle. There are other 22's I have played with including the CZ457mtr which I really like, it just doesn't fit my needs. The anschutz is a great rifle but it could never be made to copy my CF match rifle. Plus paying 90 bucks for 1 mag is not what I am going to do! I get 3 mags from Vudoo for 99.00!

Last time I looked, you could still get 5-shot Savage mags from Brownells for about 15 bucks. After a few minutes work with a file or Dremel tool they work just fine in an Anschutz (some have reported that these mags worked just fine in their guns w/o modification. I always had to file mine a bit). I actually prefer them to factory Anschutz mags and they are all steel. I dunno about 10-shot mags.

I ordered a ravage Renegade with a carbon fiber barrel and diamond trigger.

Looking forward to shooting different type matches with my son.

My other carbon Fiber barrel on a magnum research 10/22 drills, I assume this will be no different except hopefully better being on a bolt gun with tighter tolerances.

I still want an Annie, not sure which one.

Build a 2500X with a Shilen ratchet 16- twist barrel. This is what all bench rest shooters shoot!

I really like that 2500x. If I or any of my kids lean towards a single shot or br, that will be the one I want. I have a shilen ratchet for my cz455 tho it’s now wearing a 17hmr barrel.
For, now, I’m into accurate repeater (rimfire) guns. This Vudoo will fit the bill.
There are a couple others I’d like to have too. Maybe one day down the road.

I’ve been itching for a precision 22. Just waiting to see how the Zermatt and ultimatum fair out. I’m super curious on the ultimatum personally. Vudoo is still top of my list though

Since I already own a 40X Sporter REPEATER I don't feel the need to own a UGLY Clone

so hypothetically you're saying, that you would let the cosmetic appearance of a rifle hold you back, even if it was holding minute of eyeball vs minute of head? Just asking for a friend

Have a rimX action on order and was able to handle one last weekend. I agree 100% on the oversized mags but understand they are done to use 700 stocks with AI style bottom metal. The mags on the rimX are robust aluminum construction (and adjustable) so they should be good and strong.

Vudoo has aluminium mags also, pricey tho.

I think they are coming out with what I was told a flushish magazine. Ill get one of those. I don't like a mag poking me in the back when the rifle is slung on my shoulder.

Be nice if someone made a stock with integral notched leg bipod of good quality. Could be replaceable parts too, in case you break something. Ooh ooh, carbon fiber legs to boot.

If Vudoo ever comes out with a flush fit magazine I will be first in line for one. Seems like a magazine with the bottom in the shape of a model 700 floorplate similar to a Beretta Mato magazine would be doable. Until then my 7 Anschutz’s will have to tide me over.

Came in last week. Working, haven’t had a chance to shoot it yet.

The stock is kinda heavy for walking, feels like good quality. I’ll probably get an HS precision for carrying around and use this one for matches.

Life is toooooooooo short (@ 72) to Dance with UGLY Women or shoot UGLY Rifles--

And as far as UGLY rifles I own a Remington 580 that will shoot with 99.99 % of STOCK 22's
