40th Hickory Groundhog Shoot 2020

According to Larry at the press match briefing last year, "No practice time next year."

But I hear in the past, multiple people can use the same gun, If this is true, the first couple people in your alliance could get zero's, granted you have to deal with changing wind conditions but being able to share the same gun and notes is a HUGE advantage.

Can someone confirm whether or not this is true

Last year, the multiple shooters, 1 rifle, was out. Each rifle / shooter to the line once, with exceptions for 'junior's shooters' , 15 and under I think? Best I can remember, Larry said this would be the same this year.

Are these distances verified...or, do the target distances vary slightly every year?
Please confirm.

Alright guys, I have already said this more than once. Here it is one more time as plain as I can say it - no practice this year. One man, one rifle, one class this year.
There is no way I will confirm anything much other than that.Larry stated last year plain and simple to use your dope from last year for 2020.
Larry has changed the distances before, he did on the 35th. Never heard so much crying an carrying on in my life.
And yes team shooting gives the last guy shooting that rifle a big advantage, that's why we cut it out. I have heard nothing but positive feedback from people on that.
It's worthy to note that Jeff Godfrey not only won last year, He set a record beating the old one by 2 points, by himself, wearing a Pantera T shirt:D The man is just plain bada$$.
So I hope that answers everyone's questions.

That, without a doubt, is some of the best shooting at the hardest place to shoot, I have ever seen. I'm going to find a Metallica t-shirt next week end. My I'll see Jeff before the match and he can bless it.

What about signing up on Friday the 3rd, "day before the match", or has that been changed too. Haven't seen anything mentioned about that.

I saw the write up in the bulletin today. There is one piece of information in that article that is incorrect. This will not be our last Hickory Groundhog shoot. Larry is simply passing the torch along to my partner and myself. Larry will stay on as a consultant of sorts so things go smoothly next year.
Bulls Eye Sporting goods has worked in conjugation with Larry over the last 5 years to obtain the great prizes that are on the table each year.
Please pass the info along. I would appreciate it.
Mike

No website I know off. But at least one big article on the Daily Bulletin here on AS! One of and maybe the largest crowds in the country!
