Don't send your girlfriend for ammo

So I'm at Academy looking at reloading stuff when a girl picks up some Hornady .40 dies. She really looked the box over for a few minutes. I said "Those are good dies, you reload or for your boyfriend or husband"? She said "My boyfriend sent me for bullets, is this what's inside (pointing to picture of dies)"? I explained about the dies and sent her to the ammo aisle.

Then there was the guy last week that thought a box of bullets for reloading was loaded ammo. These are some of the people buying up guns right now.:confused:
 
Just came from there. Guy at the door has sign, "limit 3 ammo units". Young woman on cell phone: "This box says point 45 three oh oh is that right honey? No they cant wax my eyebrows because health reasons"
I looked a tackle boxes. Left quickly.
Edit. Funny thing, she had a box of bullets and her victim surely wanted live ammo!

Wife said her daughter wanted to know if I'd sell her a shotgun. Wife asked why. To protect herself. Has NOT had a job for 3 years. Hasn't applied for any lately. Wife said she has nothing anyone would want.
I said she would end up hocking it.

I work at Bass Pro Shops. People are coming in and asking what ammo we still have available as there's been a huge run on firearms (handguns, AR's, tactical shotguns) and their respective ammo this past week. Once told, they say they want a gun (doesn't matter what kind or caliber) as long as we still have ammo for it.

Now THAT'S scary
 
Here in North Dakota, many of the schools teach hunter education classes in the "Ag Class". No pass, no hunting. Shouldn't there be a firearms safety class. No pass, no gun. Every so often, I see posts of guys complaining of dangerous people at public and private ranges (I've seen it too!) Just a rant, nuf' said.

Yes, now here's a good story reference cute/pretty girls. We had a British TV crew filming operations and they asked to be with a female agent. I had one picked out. They asked me "Good looking attractive female"? I said "If You want a good agent that's going to go out and work, catch some bad guys and maybe some dope, she's the one". She wasnt no model but not unattractive but my thing was that she was going to represent us well doing her job not on her looks. We did have some lookers and god knows they got by on looks and had things done for them.

Which one. I run the gun vault at Tacoma WA #78 and its been stupid crazy.
people were grabbing ammo then waiting 5 hours to buy a gun that took the ammo that grabbed.
