The CMP crew at Ben Avery put on a great match. It's a shame we got shut down by all the virus and gatherings issues. Right up to that point we were having a blast.

I got talked into going by my friend and he provided the guns and ammo. Can't thank him enough.

Congrats all around to the crew and participants. Looking forward to next year!

Yes. Their management and The State of AZ said the same things about the same time. We got started and they said no events of 50 people after the 17th.
Things like their clinics, SAFS School, M16 Match, Rimfire Sporter, Garand, Springfield, Foreign Military, Modern Military, and Vintage Sniper Match, made it under the wire before they made their people go home. That stopped the Service Rifle Cup Matches and the EIC Match.

The Western Games used to be in October and I never went due to a conflict with elk season and also because I have never collected “The Wooden Guns”. I picked up a Garand at the match and had just picked up one of those converted 03-A4 Vintage Snipers from Creedmoor Sports. I had a blast so I’ll try to get things together for next year.
