I found out the hard way that they wont let you post the word "ethics" on their site. I find it pretty sad that a hunting site wont allow you to discuss or use the word ethics.
Please don't, I find the use of arbitrary acronyms boring and simply ignore them when they are posted.
About the only other shooting forums I frequent are the Bullseye List, Go Go Varminter, and Gun Talk online. Same "above the cut" types of folks that are knowledgeable, fellow shooters, and have a real desire to help out a guy with a question, without any belittling or snarky comments.
Gun talk and Go Go have really slowed down in the past couple of years, but they used to be similar to this forum. If you didn't log in at least once a day, you were really behind the curve.

Accurate Shooter is the center of my shooting forum visits, but I also spend time on some other forums that go in depth in some of the other shooting interest that I have. Rimfire Central, Specialty Pistols (break action thread), and Saubier are forums I go to that supplements Accurate Shooter information on topics I want.
There are a couple words like that I have noticed they seem harmless enough to me but they are not acceptable to the site I guess
i like LRH a lot, but don’t get caught talking trash about vortex. You’ll get your post deleted or heavily edited.

Remember the dude with his own "shooting academy" who was deleting other people's posts and posting bs videos? He posted a video touting someone making a cold bore shot with a Valkyrie from like 1400 yards. Only problem was he showed the shooters dope book, the cartridge, but no shot lol. Of course being a site sponsor he could delete all the criticisms. He even threatened to sue a member who was calling him out on his, um, achievements...
@Adam in WI yes that was the final warning for remmy700 too. He was the main one calling the guy out. In lens defense he banned the sponsor too. Guys claims were insane and he just kept saying “science” at the end of his statements. So you wouldn’t question him on it. Some SF dude even called him out. Lol

He at least got warnings. I got shoe leather and crickets.
I knew Remmy 700 was banned that sucks but now as Paul Harvey says I know the rest of the story
People still mention Remy 700 every now and then he is missed
what else happened? Mud runner was banned too but he was saying crazy stuff. We probably aren’t making a good case for LRH for the op

Seemed like he had an awful long leash, took long enough for that to happen.
If you pour your own Cast Boolits is a really good site with a lot of useful information, another highly informative site along this line the site for the Los Angeles Silhoutte Club (LASC.US). The 10MM Firearms site is as the name implies, mostly about and for 10MM firearms but has other areas as well. It has an area dedicated to factory ammo tear downs for people wanting to duplicate factory ammunition (mostly handgun).

Boss has been very good to us here on this site IMHO. I recall some threads that you knew were going to the gutter and well yes some of my posts have been deleted. But I think he dose a good job keeping it real. There have been some threads (back in the day) that opinions got very heated and Boss let the guys vent. But some guys went way beyond civil and Boss shut her down which I feel was justified. I try to regulate my Makers Mark before I type on the Keyboard. Just sayin.

Longrangeonly is completely dead. I go on maybe once every couple weeks and there might be a full page of new posts.
Snipershide is entertaining, but I've all but stopped posting there, can't stand the incessant dick measuring.
Longrangehunting is Fudd central, and Len is pretty heavy handed in the site moderation.
24hourcampfire makes LRH look sophisticated.
This place is as good or better than any other I've found, if a bit sedate. Much of the minutia argued over here for benchrest and F-class is a waste of time for a non-competitive, enthsiast field shooter, but there are still nuggets to glean.

I've noticed this. For the most part he "let's em play". He even participates and posts stuff relevant to to subject at hand. This is an excellent forum, no doubt as a result of his style of moderating.
