Raised reticle?

Does anyone have a photo of what the sight picture of a raised reticle looks like, on target with flags? If so I’d love to see it.

I have a Leupold 40x comp. I sent to Bill Ackerman and had the raised crosshair put in. I love it. It is impossible for me to take a pic because of the small exit pupil in a high power scope. It doesn’t show the whole picture. But I can tell you, instead of seeing just the top of the flag, you can see the whole flag and a lot of the tail. Samuel Hall

I agree with Sam...I have a March 40x with the raised reticle and love it. It's my second raised reticle scope. I wish it was offered std on br specific scopes, as I just don't see a down side. As for a pic, I can't take one either but just imagine the intersection of the crosshairs about 2/3rds of the way toward the top of the scope view, rather than in the center. It really helps with seeing the flags in the bottom of the scope.

Dont take this as the official word, but I think they are certified to work on Leupold without voiding the warranty. You can always ask them first. They have worked on and checked on at least 9 Leupolds of mine. Mainly changed reticles.

Dont take this as the official word, but I think they are certified to work on Leupold without voiding the warranty. You can always ask them first. They have worked on and checked on at least 9 Leupolds of mine. Mainly changed reticles.

I spoke to Cheryl at OSC and she said to expect the warranty to be void after their work... even if all they did was a reticle change. I called Leupold today and mentioned OSC and their services and they said that ANY aftermarket work will void the warranty.

As many of you know, Leupold closed down their custom shop and nothing has been announced about when they will reopen or what services they will offer if/when it does. They never offered the raised reticle to my knowledge anyhow.

Seriously considering sending one to OSC but I kinda would like to try one out before committing. I really wish NF offered this reticle in their 42X Lightweight Competition model. March is just not in my budget.

Euro optic has them for $1050. That’s where I bought mine.

Premier Reticle in Winchester, VA, used to be Leupold's East Coast warranty station. They did a couple for me years ago. Their work did NOT void the factory warranty.
