Hunters Pointe, SD
Elbow Lake, MN
Harris, MN
LaCrosse, WI

I usually shoot at Bellwood (informal), but am renewing my membership at Reade Range.
Planning a groundhog shoot in Grampion in March.
F-Class in May at Reade.
Long range steel match at Miflin County.

Broadening my horizons so to speak.

Terry is a fine person and I would think he would be a great travel companion. I live in Wisconsin, but don't care to travel. Some day would like to make a trip to the Dasher Dome, would love to shoot at Deep Creek.

I don't see NC on your list ?
Lol.
I have tried to get a Bench Rest shooting buddy to travel with. Everybody plays the "loan wolf" thing around here. We pass one another in the hwys :/

It should be. I have a son in VA beach with a baby due in April. Anything there going on?

I actually like my wife, and wanna keep her around for a few more years. :D

She already complains about the time, (we won't mention money!) I spend hunting.

I have no clue where a lot of these places mentioned are.
I guess i really do need to get out more.

May end up doing Reade in June. Spring turkey starts in May. :D

Well, it is important to keep the wife happy. I pretty much stopped all but deer hunting many years agp when I reslized I would rather go to a match and enjoy lots of shooting and good companionship than hunting. I get my woods fix by taking my wife hiking several days a week which see enjoys and has found out she has gained a lot of knowledge about the woods and the animals in them. Don't get all warped up in National Shoots. Competition at lots of local shoots is just as good. I have shot in National Championships in several diciplines, never won but have been a runnerup, 2nd place. I did not win a New Cadillac , just a piece of wood . Local shoots often give a similar piece of wood or better yet a few bucks, gas money, no overnight travel and expense. If you can compete here in Central Pa you can travel the country and be competitive that is your goal. I know I have done it and seen others who have. You can do it if you work at it. As with anything you get out of it what you put into it.

I would, my club is only about 20 minutes away and I got to compete in 6 of the 8 matches last year. I am about an hour from Atterbury, but have never shot there.
