Never encountered antelope jacks. In my region we have only blacktail and whitetail jacks. But we do have many whitetail antelope squirrels. What a world.Outside Tucson. It's an antelope jackrabbit (not to be confused with a jackalope).

"An average of 8 rabbits will eat as much as 1 sheep; 41 as much as 1 cow; on desert grazing range these large jackrabbits compete with livestock. A fair game mammal." However it also says "Many infected with tapeworm cysts (bladder worm)."
