Buddy of mine has one got it from the Local GunShop so not certain it’s a special run but it is complete stainless. His shoot 80’s very well actually surprised me how well even in the flimsy factory stock

I have the Whittaker 8 twist 22-250 with the blued receiver and stainless barrel. I got a screaming deal on it and am glad I bought it. It took a bit of work on my end, but Ruger customer service is great. I had two issues with mine, first it was sent with the wrong extractor, so it wouldn't chamber well until that was figured out, they sent me a new one right away. Second was the rotary mag was no good. The second round in the magazine wouldn't slide up to be picked up by the bolt, seemed like a spring not wound up tight enough. They sent me a new one, second one had the same problem so I used a 450 bushmaster single stack mag with no issues.

It shoots very well. Glad I picked it up.

I’d this was done by Whitaker I believe they did a Tikka 22-250 8 twist as well which was most certainly a true 8 twist.

my guess it’s the same barrel.
