I'm not going down the BR rabbit hole. I would, however like to have an high end repeater. Trying to decide between an Annie, Vudoo or custom.
I think stiller is coming out with a repeater?
I'm planning on shooting center x or equivalent in accuracy for price.
I've shot a few Vudoo's and they are awesome. I've shot a few anschutz and they're great too but so many model numbers I'm lost in which is which. Then there is the custom route for which I have a nice JGS match reamer for. So, which action/trigger to build from?

Vudoo..I took mine out yesterday for awhile just to get used to it and test some ammo..center x shot good at 50 meters and the Midas was stupid accurate..they both shot great at a 109 yards the Midas might have been a tad bit better..
Vudoo=Rem 700 stocks and triggers
They are also coming out with a SS action can’t wait to get me one of those.

20190910_200637.jpg My Vudoo with Midas + is most always top 3 in club matches against Anschutz, 40x, Win 52s, Sakos, Brnos and the est.

I cannot more highly recommend the Vudoo.

Easy choice. Vudoo.

Before walking past the Anschutz, have a poke at their options including the custom shop builds. You can mostly get what you want from the custom shop, if they feel like making it for you. Have a look at the 1727 and 1827 models - these are truly unique to Anschutz.

But Vudoo have some very interesting options and being Rem 700 based, a platform you can play on.

I was Jonesing for an Anschutz for many years. When I was ready to spend $2-3K for a rimfire I started doing serious research and note taking. From my research my primary concern with Anschutz was feeding/ejection issues. Numerous stories of sending new guns in for service and not having the issues resolved. Their always obscene magazine pricing was hard for me to accept.

Then I heard mention of this US company called Vudoo.... 10K+ rounds since June of 2018 and absolutely no regrets.

Due to buying in their infancy I was having intermittent ignition issue with Tennex (hard brass). I shipped my bolt in for inspection and within 8 days had a new bolt with their Gen2 fire control in hand.

Vudoo's customer service is well above and beyond most companies I've dealt with in any industry.

Also, the feel and function of their action is the real centerfire deal.

For benchrest only as a right handed shooter a left port single shot feed action would be ideal. Rumor has it they may be working on such an action.

I have question, what is the intention with your 22 rifle? I personally shoot a Vudoo because I built it as a clone of my CF match rifle. At the time I was unaware of the great accuracy of the rifle. There are other 22's I have played with including the CZ457mtr which I really like, it just doesn't fit my needs. The anschutz is a great rifle but it could never be made to copy my CF match rifle. Plus paying 90 bucks for 1 mag is not what I am going to do! I get 3 mags from Vudoo for 99.00!

I don't have any specific intention just yet per se. The purpose for now is to have the most accurate 22 repeater bolt gun I can that shoots center x or less $ but more accurate ammo.

Ill most likely be shooting informal matches off a rest and bipods with my kids.

My other 22's are capable of shooting 3/4" 5 shot groups at 100yds (best groups) but usually around 1" to 1 1/2". I'd like to get smaller then that and more often.

I would REALLY be interested in this myself.

I shoot 100/200yd 'informal' matches at our range. We have a creek 6-16' wide) running perpendicular to the range 65 yards out, then a major berm 130. Wind and environmental conditions are extreme with rimfire and our flags constantly contradict readings N/S and E/W. It's tough to go small compared to some groups I see posted.

I shoot against some seasoned old timers using custom Stevens falling block replicas, Stiller actioned Benchmark barreled rifles, Win 40x's and 52's, Rem 37's, Anschutz 54.30's and a few older 64's.

My first season (last year and only 6 months) I finished third. This season, a full 12 matches, I squeaked out a first. I shoot bipod/mag fed initially and mostly off the formal rest/single feed this season. With the Bravo stock I can switch out the configurations quickly.

My gun does surprisingly well with CCI SV at 50/100/200. Best 200yd 10 shot group was with RWS R50, roughly 1.75".

I will add my buddy with the Stiller, 54.30, 40X, 52, and 37 bought a Vudoo after shooting against mine.

What I probably enjoy the most is the full-sized feel and function.

I own two Vudoo rifles. The first I bought used. It was an early production gun and there were some ejection issues. A call to Vudoo for discussion wound up being a paid call tag for them to “bring the rifle up to current” models. It was back in ten days (mostly shipping time) and has not skipped a beat in the few thousand rounds so far.
V-22 number two came special ordered from Vudoo with 22” MTU barrel, 30 MOA base and Sniper Gray finish. It too has performed flawlessly and with any of the now eight mags I own.
I recently read comments by Mike Bush (the mind behind Vudoo) where they have a totally new fire control system and a new BR action in the late stages of ready (February I believe).

Sneak peak at a new repeater action that is coming out soon. 6:00 firing pin, user adjustable trigger timing, positive extraction, no extractor cuts in barrel. Not at liberty to divulge yet.
Bighorn..?
