Not sure how new this company is. They offer custom barrels and pre-fit as well. What seemed different about them is they use a barrel nut that can be used with all factory stocks with no fitting or inletting. Haven't heard any reviews. Anybody hear how these barrels are ? Hearing there on par with Criterion and McGowen. Hear say really.

Wow, their prices are really good.
Their website has some info on how they make the barrels, they tell about having great machinery, some kind of improved precision gun drilling, button rifled, stress relieved after rifling.
a google search of “reviews of preferred barrel blanks” shows some satisfied shooters and small groups.

Thanks for the response. Buddy of mine said there a bunch of kids from the south that put together this company. Said they have the latest and greatest machines and technology. That's all I have to go by. Saw a few good reviews accuracy wise. Pics of groups also.

The last 2 Green Mountain barrels I got turned out to be "BUG HOLE" shooters. Ordered one, got it in a couple of days SO, I ordered another one just like it. Got it in less than a week.
And if you're not buying Green Mountain barrels, that means less wait time for other buyers.
And if your barrel isn't listed on the "Winner's List", it's no good?
You can all run out and buy a Pac Nor.

I can’t knock Prefered because I have never had one.
I do have a couple of MGM barrels and a BF pistol with a Virgin Valley barrel. They all shoot better than I can, maybe that’s not saying much but I have made a rifle shooter or two have a piece of humble pie.
Had a 9” Encore barrel in 44 mag I should never have sold. 3” groups@200 were about the best it would do with a 4x Leupold.
Everyone can have a glitch. If it’s on a regular basis that’s another thing. How they take care of it is the main thing.
