I got case head smear and alittle firm bolt lift. Smear maybe bad word, you know when the bolt turns and the case doesn't. Velocity at 29.0 was 2792. 28"er.

Update, so I got my new Harrell's semi custom die. My pressure problem is solved finally. Here's another OCW with more powder. Not really knowing how to read it I picked 30.0 grains. Loaded up 15 and went back out and shot at 500. Of course the wind and mirage were up but I think I like it. Mike

Looking at your numbers 29.8 is in the middle of that node.

Nice gun you are really lucky to get such a good deal on a nice stock. The Stock and Barrel are the two things that I think make a gun a good shooter.

velocity is close to the load either side. The ES is the narrowest as is the SD. I would also test 29.7 and 29.9. The low shot at 29.9 could have been you.

I would shoot 5 at 30 and 5 at 30.1 and which ever one shot the best group I would start moving the seating depth in or out in .003 increments for 3 sets... if it didn't close up I would go the other way for 3 sets... think you will find a good load there in one of them..

What gman said, if your case has room, might go up another couple tenths in power weight
and see if their another node there.
