Truevalue or ace hardwareDoes anyone know where I can get a 26 inch brass rod to remove a squib from my barrel.
It just bout a inch or so into the chamber from the breech end....
I go with the largest brass rod that will fit in the bore. And I don't HAMMER on it. Just drop it repeatedly, and it will knock the bullet out.It just bout a inch or so into the chamber from the breech end....
I use 5/32 for my 17, 20 and 223 calibers (although I could use 3/16 for 20 and 223). You don't want it so small it goes between the tip of the bullet and the lands.I take it the 1/8 × 36 inch rod at tractor supply would be the smallest size
I would use a wooden dowel just smaller than the bore
Yeswas it a primer only load??
ok keep dropping that rod on it
