Looking at the farley rest what do you guy think about it. How much movement in m.o.a does it have at 100yds. Is it smoother then a shade tree. Just like too what you guys think about it.

Used to have a shade tree. Got a farley earlier this year. Its light years. Smooth as heck and solid too. Its certainly an upgrade.

Love my Farley. I never took the time to figure out how much adjustment is in there, but I can cover a big area at 100 yards. This has never been an issue.

As Dusty said, the tension screws from Butch are a big upgrade:

Another option that's popped up more recently is the fine adjust tension screws from Bullet Central. It's almost criminal how much they cost, but they work beautifully. Very easy to dial in perfectly and quite convenient when switching between guns of different weights. For instance, I use one setting for my LV gun. When I shoot my HV gun, I twist the knob to my preferred setting for that gun and go on my way. Hard to beat.

I have a Farley with the Shade Tree up grade, went back to my mechanical. I just didn't like the joy stick.
With the Farley hard case and the up graded adjusters $1100.00 shipped if you are interested.

It is put away at the moment, and I don't have any pictures in a file. Will have to get it out of back of garage to take some, won't be until tomorrow, or go to Farley's site it is the bench rest style.

I'd say some where around 5' at one hundred. Just a guess. I can go from my neighbor shooters target edge L & then R.
To shoot a 25 bull target hung long up/down I think I'd have to lower it a tad to get to the bottom row.

@jimmymac
Does this include 2 adjusters for the 95.oo ?

Ordered, thanks for the heads up.
I'll now be able to manage between 17lb and 10lb with out a tool.

I hope you like it. I have no problems switching between a 10.5 and a 13.5 pound gun. Let us know how the jump from 10 to 17 works for you.

Shot a match today with a lighter .22 rifle 25 bills to a card and the side to side was smooth. The vertical was scrubby feeling.
I'm hoping these help this.

I shot a Farley for several years, bot CF & RF , never gave me a problem but as has been mentioned, gotta get the Shadetree or Bullet central tension screws. Have since moved on to a SEB , but would have zero issue shooting over a Farley in any match.
Every couple years, pull the top and clean/lube the rollers, tension screws and plates and they run well.

Best way to know is flapper type bag squeeze like a rock br is the older version.
The newest has delrin post looking things that squeeze.
It matters when buying bags for it.

I saw a great deal with case included several months ago in the classifieds ....might be the one mentioned above.
Coaxial II Not much use, case included, (Edgewood bag(?)
1100 ....NICE price/value imo.
I was out 13-1400 after bag, bullet holder, feet. I have a case but that's 150+ if bought.
It seems that farley's business practice its to promise "Monday" over and over while taking their time doing life ... not that it's wrong but to tell me Monday sets me up for disappointment if it's not delivered. Do that for 3 months and I have a bad taste ... When if I was told 3 mths ...then it came, I'd be happy.
If you order be sure and say 3" bag !
Mine came with a 2.5 worthless ...
