@tom handles the gun very well. But I’d like to see him stay down on the gun and not come out of position looking for ammo. Also would like to see him push the gun forward with his shoulder instead of his hand! Thanks for posting Bart!
When I first started 3 years ago I would find/watch/study as many @tom videos as I could find.

Merry Christmas Tom!

I am with you on that one Tom !!! What good is it to shoot fast on the wrong TARGET LMAOI pick my head to look at my note I wrote indicating what target I'm supposed to be on! Lol.
Today I was moving it just to exhale and get a breath quickly so as to not fog my damn scope!

Bart, you are right its going to be a long, long winterHey I even had it written on my hand!
Shot 138 correct Targets this year! Then screwed up my streak!
Edit
My bad forgot about the 1000 yard Nationals. That’s 142 targets
That’s nearly a lifetime supply of targets for Tom!
Bart
This is a good point. Anything you do often enough becomes muscle memory. When I shot 3-4 matches a month I was a lot smoother than I am now. Just one more reason to shoot often, and at matches. I have never found any form of practice to be as good as actual matches.Hey I even had it written on my hand!

I normally have my shoulder off of the rifle. But I have some guns that want to be pinned. So it can be done either way. Just have to be consistent.Amazing stuff to me. Thanks for sharing. For @tom and @BartsBullets, is your shoulder touching the butt when you fire?

Want another look at the master?
@tomNot bad Captain, but I'd like to see you lower the stool just a little. You want it to look a little more like a Benchrest shooter on a rifle, and a bit less like a monkey on a football.
Tom
Bart, and those who view Tom shooting ladders via video he is very "lazy" and "less Mission" based when forming ladders that's the truth. But when he rolls into match play in my view or study watching handfuls of competitors pro's and not so much he "Tom Mousel" is the cleanest operator I have ever witnessed. what separates him from most is he can move really fast while still soft touch running the equipment most look fast and are clearly clumsy and yanking platform while attempting or exceeding there clean ability to do so. Bart handles a run very well also deliberate with out the bullshit LOL. keeping a head in position and relying on eyes and peripheral vision takes practice to do well and group well. I like it when Tom reals the string back a little from Rail Car to funny Car he usually will group smaller Lol..@tom handles the gun very well. CaptainMal, if you read my post you will see where I agree to a certain point simply stated true "picking" looses relays statistically in long Range bench rest that's just how it is. Now I would agree that running as fast as you can does not guarantee relays wins either. knowing how hard to run or not and when is key. As Bart and other studs will tell you they get beat regular from others of different form and skill sets when we look at individual Relay results, but agging or the long haul is concerned its usually a different story. Bart is just suggesting a different box of cereal to taste if your interested in something different than "Wheaties" I would avoid that sample rumor is its life changing LOL. Now I learned a little about Bart a few weeks ago at 600 yard Nationals which might support your buddies picking target and its this, Bart can pump shots fast when he needs to but he usually shoots someone else's target I shit you not. your buddy might look closer at his target.Surprisingly but in this last "Monkey on a Football" video the guy behind him, slowly grinding away with that Savage, got 2nd place to Bart.
Another interesting little tidbit is that Savage rifle he is shooting is my original custom Bostrom build maybe on it's 5th barrel. That guy, Mark Niezabitowski, is quite a contrast to Bart yet shoots very well and consistently. He is a "picker" as that rifle will not allow anyone to run with that action.
