600 Yard IBS Results

Congratulations to all the winners and like Stan said, all that made the trip. They are some pure, die hard shooters to make that trip to the Great White North and survive those conditions! Safe travels back home!
By the way, does anyone, or Jason, want to share his winning combination, rifle, scope, components. It definitely had to be in tune to beat that field of shooters! Also, that sure is a nice Victory Cup Minn. provided!

Congratulations to all the winners and a big thanks to all the sponsors and the people who worked tirelessly in very tough conditions to pull the match off. I'm one of those weird guys who stays until the very end to watch the awards no matter how poor or well I did. It was my pleasure to watch my friends and others make several trips up to the firing line for awards yesterday evening.

Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the way the last year and a half. That would be a pretty long list so I'm not going to start tossing out names and miss anyone, you all know who you are. Your help allowed me to have a nice little August, September & October to finish out my full rookie year.

Thanks to all!

Thanks to everyone who made it possible for us shooters to put holes in paper this weekend ;) -- scoring shed, match directors, sponsors, ect.
A special thanks to the target crew – what a terrible set of conditions to hang targets in!

My equipment List:
Action: Panda F-class converted to drop port and timed by Alex
Barrel: Krieger – 6BRA chambered by Alex
Stock: Original Deep Creek Tracker
Scope: Valdada fixed 36x
Rest: Farley
Rear bag: Edgewood

Load:
Vapor Trail 103 – Hand crafted by TomE Jacobs
H4895 – slower lot of powder but right at 31.1
Brass - Lapua – I don’t anneal during the season
Primer - CCI
It was a special weekend – I was fortunate enough to survive the conditions (never dreamed I’d have my benchgun out in a snowstorm) and had many things go my way this particular weekend.

There are a lot of folks I’ve talked with over the last several years who have provided me with advice and I greatly appreciate it.

Jason

Even got a wall hanger target this weekend :)
