.308 200g Custom Bullets

1:11

He has a good labor day sale going on also.

Right - 11 should be fine. If you're at sea level in freezing weather, maybe a 10. But generally, 11 is what's recommended. They shoot very well with an 11. I haven't shot them in a 12, but it would not surprise me if they do well. If anyone has a 12 twist and wants to see, let me know. I'll send you a handful.

And yes, there is a sale this weekend (through monday) where I've price matched Powder Valley prices on a 200.20x. I'm wagering that F Class shooters who balk at the price tag of customs will see the light if they try them.

I do have a 12 twist that shoots remarkably well.

Shoot me a PM - if you like I'll drop a dozen or so in the mail so you can test them in your barrel to make sure they stabilize well. I bet they will, but I'm not positive. I know they shoot in an 11.25".

If I was going to use a 308 for Bison in the Yukon I'd chronograph my loads on Video and present the information to the folks on Burns Road before venturing out. Arguing with enforcement 50 miles in about a very marginal caliber that can only make it by hot loading would possibly end up with a confiscated firearm, an ongoing dispute and a ruined hunt.

o_O
This thread isnt about bullets for Bison.
