Rear bag risers, what ya got ?

The thread about the rear bag riser brought up that there are rules on what you can and can't use. Let's discuss rules of the game played.

I like to be prepared and I like well made products.
I have a 1" Edgewood spacer glued to the bottom of my big and small gators but I've seen the times I needed to put 1 3/4" board under that. I also have an aluminum plate with screw legs to make level.

Like i posted in the other thread if its not a bag containing sand dont plan to use it at a sanctioned match. The way i see it if you want something like a cutting board or wood under your sandbag i say go for it (if your testing shows that the hard object doesnt hurt your shooting )

That says you can put any vertical object as long as it doesn't contain or adjust.

You can do whatever you want. We have been dealing with this since 1998 that i know of. Skip otto designed the only legal sandbag attachment (hence the name otto stabilizer) and now the dunrud is legal. The sentence that says bag or bags and must contain sand is the sentence you have to look at

If my wedges are illegal, I could get haff dozen 3 / 16" luan shims (which are same thickness) and accomplish the same thing by placing them under my rear bag as needed.
